The Chrome extension
- It reads the current tab only when you click its icon, and only to detect the site's platform and theme.
- Detection runs entirely in your browser. The extension sends nothing to us or to any third party. No analytics, no tracking.
- The bulk checker requests the sites you paste directly from your browser. It asks for permission to do so the first time you use it.
- The optional toolbar badge is off by default. If you switch it on, the extension checks each page you load for its platform so it can show that platform's logo on the toolbar icon. The check happens on your device and nothing is sent anywhere.
- Nothing is stored after you close the popup or checker.
This website
- When you check a site here, our server fetches that site's public pages to analyze them.
- We don't keep a history of the sites you check or link them to you. Results may be cached for a few hours so repeat lookups are fast.
- Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived request logs for security and reliability.
- We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand which pages are useful. In the EU, UK and Switzerland they only run after you accept; elsewhere you can decline at any time through "Privacy choices". We honor Global Privacy Control. Advertising features are switched off, and the sites you check are never sent to these tools.
- We don't sell data or show ads.
Partner links
Some links on this site and in the extension, such as theme marketplaces, hosting and website builders, are partner links. If you sign up or buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Partner programs may set their own cookies once you visit their sites.
