What it finds

Shopify themes, named correctly

We read the store's theme record and match the Theme Store ID to the real theme, so a store that renamed Dawn to "Copy of Live Theme" still shows as Dawn, with its version.

WordPress themes and child themes

The theme's own style.css header gives us its name, author, version and website. When a child theme is active, we show the parent theme you can actually buy or download.

Plugins and store apps

WordPress plugins with links to their pages, plus Shopify apps like Klaviyo, Judge.me, Yotpo, Recharge and Rebuy, read from the scripts each page loads.

Nearly 50 platforms

Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, PrestaShop, Shopware, OpenCart, Drupal, Joomla, Ghost, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, Framer, HubSpot and more.

Frameworks, analytics and hosting

More than 280 technologies, from Next.js and Tailwind CSS to Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Stripe, Cloudflare and WP Engine, each shown with its logo and a link to its site.

Answers you can trust

Every result carries a confidence label and a "How we know" list of the exact signals we found, so you never have to take a guess on faith.

Built for real work

Bulk checker

The Chrome extension checks up to 200 sites at a time, filters them by platform and exports everything to CSV.

One click on any site

The extension reads the page you're already on, including apps that load after the page opens, so it sees more than a server can.

Private by design

The extension only runs when you click it and sends nothing to us. The website doesn't keep a history of the sites you check.

Direct theme links

Go straight to the Theme Store page, the theme's own website or a marketplace search, instead of starting a new hunt.

Light and dark

Follows your system appearance automatically, or pick light or dark yourself.

Fast and light

Pages are small and load fast, with no heavy frameworks, and the extension adds nothing to the pages you browse.

What other detectors get wrong, fixed

We read forum threads, store reviews and tool comparisons to see where theme detectors let people down. Here is what we did about each problem.

The complaint
What we do
Renamed Shopify themes show nonsenseA store calls its theme "Production v2" and the tool repeats it.
We use the Theme Store ID and the theme's internal name to find the real theme, and show the store's label separately.
Edited copies of free themes are missedA customized Dawn loses its store ID and looks unknown.
We spot copies of Theme Store themes and still link you to the original.
Only the child theme, or only the parentWordPress child themes confuse most tools.
We read both, show the parent theme as the answer and list the active child theme in the details.
Endless spinning, then "not found"No explanation of what went wrong.
Clear time limits and specific answers: headless store, password protected, custom build or blocked by the site.
Only works for one platformA Shopify tool is useless on WordPress.
Nearly 50 platforms and 280 technologies in one check.
Extensions that slow down every pageSome read every site you visit in the background.
Ours runs only when you click it, needs no access to all sites and adds no code to pages.
Paywalls, upsells and signupsHalf the result hidden behind a plan.
Free, with no account. Bulk checks and CSV export included.
